In our meat department we have an aspiring chef, Greg Brojac. Here we give him the opportunity to share his recipes with you. make sure to check often, since this will be updated frequently.

Salsalito Turkey Tacos

6Flour tortillas or corn taco shells
1 lb Salsalito Turkey Breast
1/4 lb Colby Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 1/2cups Lettuce, Shredded
1Large Tomato, sliced
 Fresh Jalapeņos, finely diced
 Salsa
 Sour Cream (optional)
 Guacamole (optional)

  1. Follow directions on package to warm taco shells. Warm Salsalito Turkey for a few second in the microwave or in a skillet. Top with lettuce, tomato, Colby cheese and Jalapeņo peppers, salsa, and sour cream.

New York Liverwurst Sandwich

8slices rye bread
  Delicatessen style mustard
24 slices Liverwurst
8 slices Bacon, fried and drained (optional)
1small onion, sliced thin

  1. Spread bottom slice of rye bread with delicatessen style mustard. Top with 3 slices of liverwurst, followed by bacon and onions. Close sandwich with second slice of rye bread and serve.

Lemon Jack Baguette

1 whole French Baguette
16 oz Lemon Pepper  Chicken Breast, sliced
1 cup prepared creamy coleslaw
1 head green leaf lettuce
1 Large yellow tomato, sliced
1 tsp. Salt free lemon pepper seasoning

  1. Slice bread in half lengthwise. Layer the lettuce on the bottom slice of 5the bread, then chicken and coleslaw. Sprinkle coleslaw with lemon pepper seasoning. Top coleslaw with tomato slices and cheese. Crown the sandwich. Cut baguette into 4 sandwiches and serve.
